Are you going to be amongst the first people to buy the iPhone 3G? If so, when do you plan on picking yours up and which one will you be purchasing?

Oh the iPhone... I think I'm going to wait before upgrading. I'm happy with the first generation right now, and am slowly in the process of reformatting and updating the firmware on it so I can enjoy the new apps. Apps are what you want. I would say that the iPhone is one device that lives up to the hype. May not have some super features that hardcore tech geeks may need, but it definitely comes in handy for many a reason. Hell, I would even recomend people buy everyone's first generation phones to avoid the wait, they work perfectly fine and will only be missing a few features that really aren't breaking. Google Maps alone is worth the price of it if you're on the go a lot.

Now we just need Vox to make an app for all of us iPhone users so we can actually access our accounts and add content while on the go. Thats one thing that I've wanted to do with mine ever since I got it. Sadly it was never possible before. The text field recognition on Vox was atrocious on the iPhone. Sadly I would have to type out my thoughts on notepad and email it to myself to be copied later. Which of course was never done because by the time I was home I was to tired to fuck with the computer. So get on it Vox, make one. Do it to it.

Heh, I would leave reminders to never eat at buffets. Not that I went to one today mind you, but every time I walk away from a buffet joint I wish I had never set foot in there. I want a sense memory usb stick to pop into my head so I can record the way my body feels after I gorging myself there. That way when somebody at work asks if I want to go I can just pop that bastard in and save myself from a bad decision.

So I just got out of the sneak-preview of Cloverfield.

Wow.

That hit the spot.

I've been amped to see this movie since the rumors went flying that the creature was allegedly H.P. Lovecraft's great big fuck-off elder god Cthulu. Sadly that was just a rumor. Having seen the film now, that would have made it infinitely better to me if that were the case. Alas, its a great film regardless. I'm not going to give away anything, because that just down right douche behavior to do so.

I will just say: see it. See it on the big screen with a good sound system.

I will give you fair warning though, if you are even the slightest bit affected by motion sickness this may not be the movie for you. I don't get motion sickness but towards the end even I was a bit queasy. Several people were getting up and walking out due to this, and by several I mean more then I can count on all of my body's extremities It affected my friend who actually had to get up and toss cookies a little after the halfway point. Thats the mark of a good movie, hehe.

I don't have anything bad to say about this movie, minus the fact that I wish it was H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulu. Maybe someday someone will take a stab at that. And when they do, I hope they take some notes from Cloverfield.

What was your reaction to the results of the Iowa caucuses?

Thats about right I took a deep breath and let it all out. I'm a Staunch Ron Paul supporter, and it didn't quite turn out so great for him. Not bad though either, he did get a greater percentage then Guilliani so he's got that going for him. I hesitate to even comment on this whole thing but fuck it.

Its been seven years since disaster has struck the US. And after all of this time people are still guided by minor issues when it comes to their candidate selection. Rather then look at who might be able to clean up the mess we've found ourselves in as a country internationally people still flock to a candidate wooing them with wobbly-kneed stances on issues like a drunk at a bar falling for a cheap pick-up line. Before you know it you're fucked and they've split before the sun rises.

Not that gun control, stem cell research, abortion, the environment and such are issues that should be ignored, but there is a bigger crises that these things seem to cloud. No single politician is ever going to wipe out the problems revolving around these issues let alone all of them the minute they're sworn in. Yet these minor issues are ALWAYS what sway a majority of voters from exercising a little bit of scrutiny and common sense when it comes to picking a candidate.

I'm really disappointed with the Democratic party. Not just with the candidates but with their overall performance over the past seven years. I have voted Democrat since I've been old enough to vote so far in life. This next time around will probably be the first time that I won't. But that all depends on who is on the GOP ballot. I can not vote for Hillary, I don't trust her any further then I could shot-put Jupiter. I do feel its time for a generational change, but I don't think the problems that lay in wait for the next commander in chief are anything that a young person could handle. And for that I think Obama would an interesting choice, in about 8 more years. For now, someone with a bit more experience and back-bone is needed. And I don't really see any of the Dem's possessing either trait.

I did have that uh-oh feeling when I saw that Huckabee took the majority of the vote there. And by uh-oh, I mean like the "uh-oh" feeling a woman in an arranged marriage has on her wedding night when her new husband she just met that day starts making his way to bed. I really hope that  the news of Mike Huckabee pardoning a convicted rapist because he "found Jesus", who then sexually assaults and murders a woman once he was freed spreads. I can't exist for another four years in a country led by someone without common sense. I do not, and will not, live in a country with a piece of shit like that at the helm. The nipple of mother hope will have run dry the day that happens. Lets hope the juices flow for eternity instead.

I'm not saying Ron Paul is the best, and the reason for that is there will never be a stand-out candidate. It boggles some of my friends that I would even support such a man. I'm Buddhist, he's pretty deep in Christianity. Yet he understands the separation of church and state. I'm not exactly pro-life nor am I fully pro-choice and Ron Paul is definitely pro-life. But, he's smart enough to let each state decide how that issue should be resolved to keep out main body of government freed up to focus on bigger issues. Ron even came out and stated that he doesn't believe in evolution. He almost lost me on that. Almost. Lucky for him all of the other candidates with a slight exception of Dennis Kucinich make me want to vommit partially digested razor wire. After stating something like that, why would I even want to continue listening to what he has to say? Simple: he's a man of integrity. Something that is found few and far between when it comes to politicians. The man sticks to his guns, and I respect that.

I can only hope for good things. One more year to go, here's to hoping we still have a country intact by then. Cheers.

So, I kind of reinforced that Paris Hilton is a touch on the "DURRRRRR!" side of things. Got this link sent to me at work. Unfortunately I am unable to rip the video clip or link directly to it. If you're really feeling intrepid you can search for the "Paris -- Oh My God, Shoes!" clip. You can find the clip on TMZ.co but that sites navigation and functionality are as big of a train wreck as its premise.

I'm not quite sure whats more disturbing: A.) people actually spend time in their day to follow celebrities doing the most banal of activities and film it or B.) Paris not realizing the shirt she has on is fucking backwards. 

When I first started out at my current place employment one of my first successful designs was this Family Guy design (which I will post pics of accordingly). Its sort of progressive since most of what was being produced were transfers, which are crap. This one was sweet because it was reverse print, where the image is printed on the inside and the fabric is treated in a way that the graphic underneath shows through.

This concept, as well as the natural flow and structure of the English language seemed to have eluded Paris when she wiped the blood crust from her vampire-bat coke nostril and decided she needed higher heels before vacuuming up the next nights trail of fine Columbian. I salute you for your "fuck it" attitude. A stance that I too share during most of life's experiences. I enjoyed listening to people at work make excuses for her.

I was the first to load the clip, as well as point out that she exits from the drivers side of an American car (which is the left for some of you). And if further evidence was needed: you can clearly read the English language signage from left to right. Brilliant. On a positive note, in some weird way I touched Paris's tits. Go me.

Its fucking hot out right now. And it occurred to me on my way home from Shawshank tonight that the speed limit should be determined by temperature. When its hot, go fucking fast to cool off and get the fuck out of that shit. When its cold, drive slow so you don't fucking wreck.

Dave Matthews is playing in Cincy tonight. If work didn't have me dragging me ass I would be there with bells on to heckle and provoke that schill into a street fight. Bah! His music has the romantic value of a paper rose in a plastic tube that you can purchase as an impulse buy from a gas station check-out counter.

I will be assembling a beer bong on Friday to celebrate the end of yet another trade show season survived. Pics of  "Count Drunkula" will be posted accordingly.
